What Sets Us Apart
Dr. Kelleher is originally from Rochester, NY. After graduating from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Biology, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. While attending MUSC, Dr. Kelleher was recognized with numerous honors and awards including being selected as a Presidential Scholar, a Provost Scholar and member of the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Kelleher moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2005 to complete his education at the Medical College of Virginia where he received a Master of Science in Dentistry and Graduate Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Kelleher is highly trained in the latest orthodontic techniques and treatments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. As a former member of the VCU Craniofacial/Facial Reconstruction team, Dr. Kelleher also has extensive experience with complex cases requiring interdisciplinary care. Dr. Kelleher participates in various local study clubs and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, Virginia Dental Association and Virginia Association of Orthodontists.
When not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Kelleher enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, daughter, Ava, and their precocious Welsh terrier, Sophie. He and Lori have been happily married for over six years and welcomed Ava into the world in 2007. Lori is an accomplished artist and graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She was honored as a Country Living magazine's featured artist for 2005 and is the proud owner of Ladeedahfolk Art. Dr. Kelleher and his family are thrilled to be in Richmond and are excited about becoming active members of the community.
